Mike Siegel

I am a seasoned IT consultant and business professional with over 25 years of experience in software development, enterprise resource planning (ERP), and technical system implementation. My career began in software engineering, designing and developing complex applications across industries. That foundation gave me a solid grip on the software development life cycle (SDLC) and on delivering solutions that match real client needs — not just slide decks.

As a Certified Epicor Kinetic Financials and DocStar ECM Consultant, I specialize in implementing ERP solutions that streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency. My work has long included Avalara TaxConnect, BarTender label printing, Mobile Warehouse, and integrations via REST, SQL, DMT, and ServiceConnect. I have completed over 30 ECM/DocStar implementations and served as the primary financial consultant on more than 50 Epicor projects.

That body of work is the platform for the next step in my practice: high-value agentic and AI-augmented ERP consulting. Companies are asking how to pair a reliable transactional core — Kinetic, financials, AP, inventory, documents — with intelligent agent layers. I help design that hybrid model: risk-tiered agent workflows, prompt-driven process design, intelligent exception handling (especially in AP and finance), and governance so agent actions remain auditable. Tools such as Epicor Prism / Agent Foundry are part of the practical toolkit — always in service of process clarity, not novelty.

I do not treat this as commodity configuration. I design how agents and humans share work on top of the existing ERP so the system becomes more adaptive without losing control. Deep technical implementation and real business-process understanding stay inseparable.

My time at Parasoft as Director of Professional Services for the Americas allowed me to architect and implement complex DevOps automation for clients including Target, Disney, and Fidelity Investments. That role deepened my understanding of automated testing, service virtualization, continuous integration and deployment, and of leading delivery teams against clear business outcomes.

At Click Software as a Senior Technical Consultant, I implemented solutions that integrated with enterprise systems such as SAP — translating requirements into working designs, supporting critical go-live phases, and enabling teams through training and on-site support.

I take a holistic view of solution design: how systems interact across the organization, and how short-term fixes should still serve longer-term objectives. A deep understanding of the Epicor suite — not only a single module — lets me tailor comprehensive solutions to each client’s requirements.

At Siegel Software, I continue to draw on that experience and network to help organizations maximize their Epicor investment — whether optimizing classic workflows, integrating critical systems, or introducing agentic capability with the same practical discipline that has always defined the work.
